LOCUST GROVE & MOUNT CARMEL
Class C/CC 37 mi at 9:30 AM from Livingston Road Parking Lot for IHRT
We'll take the IHRT to Pomfret, then Marshall Corner to Rose Hill and Chapel Point to a rest stop at Port Tobacco River Park. Climbing Locust Grove takes us to La Plata, where we'll take Glen Albin and Springhill Newtown to Bel Alton Newtown and MD_6. Returning to La Plata, we'll take Radio Station to Rosewick and Washington to Mitchell and a second rest stop at the Mt Carmel Monestery. Hawthorne and Bumpy Oak bring us back to the IHRT and Livingston Rd.   36 mi, 1046' elevation gain.
