This is the club's annual Watermelon Ride, started by charter member Bob McMaster to celebrate his birthday on the first Sunday after the 4th of July. This is a fun, multi-class ride in the morning that starts from the Accokeek Fire Station and returns to Accokeek Neighborhood Park (across the street from the fire station) for watermelon in the shade.

Directions to Ride Start:  Take Md 210 south approximately 10 mi. from the beltway. Go right on Livingston Road at the Accokeek Rd 373 light (B&J Carryout). The fire station is on right after about 3/4 mi. Park toward the back.

This is a Social Distancing Ride open to members only.  All riders must agree to follow the  Guidelines for Rides During the Pandemic and agree to the Informed Consent for COVID-19 and the Release and Waiver of Liability.  Advance registration is required.
