Route: Belmont Blvd spur followed by Mason Neck Trail to High Point Rd into the state park. From the park, Gunston Road to Hallowing Point Estates followed by Gunston Estates, back onto the trail at the state park entrance, and final leg included short spurs into Gunston Hall, Pohick Bay Park, Pohick Bay Golf Course.
Weather: Clear, sunny, NW 9-10 mph breezes, temps starting in the mid 50s climbing to the low 60s. Pretty nice for the end of December.
AMS: swept in the low 11s
Mechanicals/Mishaps: none
Report: All of us were out to get some end of year miles today, riding an easy route, mostly flat, and at times, quite scenic. Linda and Steve were in the lead for almost the entire route while the remaining three leisurely pedaled with plentiful conversation.
