Report: A lovely ride with a good bit of shade. Except for a few miles on the shoulder of a couple of busy roads, our route traveled on mostly rural roads. We explored both Cumberstone Road and Galesville. Cumberstone Road did not disappoint, with heavy shade and some stunning very old majestic trees. We replenished water at the Pirates Cove restaurant, ate snacks at the shaded park at the end of Riverside Rd, near the West River marina. And checked out the "cat apartments" maintained by the marina for the resident feral cats. Good ride, good company!
