Mechanicals/Mishaps:
Pat learned the hard way, when you adjust your seat height to make it a few mm higher, be sure to use enough torque (or, if you've got a carbon frame and carbon seat post, use carbon friction paste) to keep your seat in its new adjustment.  In Pat's case, it slipped down -- and as is the nature of such things, she didn't realize it until long after it had had its effect on her

Report:
It was a beautiful day for a bike ride.  We rode down North Keys in the shade on a road covered with debris from the storm the night before, then took Molly Berry to the long climb on Van Brady.  Old Indian, Cheltenham -- glorious, right up to the corner of Duley Station at which point we rode into a cloud of weaponized pollen.  First it was the racking coughs.  By the time we got to Mount Calvert, Duvall and Croom Airport it was getting hard to see: burning eyes that felt as though they were stuffed with sand and gravel.

We enjoyed a break at Patuxent River Park, then climbed Croom Airport and took Croom to St Thomas Church, Mattaponi back to Croom, then Nottingham to Fenno and a second break at the Merkle Sanctuary.

Leaving Merkle we headed back on Fenno, taking Nottingham to Candy Hill, then right on Molly Berry back to North Keys and the park.

Harry too photographs and put together an album on Flickr https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzQv5i
