We'll cross US-50 at Dutchman's Lane and take a tour of the farmland east of Rt 50, crossing back over at Trappe after a break at the Valero on Barber Rd.  From there we'll head to Oxford where we'll cross the Tred Avon River on the Oxford-Bellevue Ferry ($6 one-way fare) and head to St Michaels for a stop at Justine's Ice Cream and/or your favorite restaurant for crab cakes before heading back to Easton.  54 miles, 600' elevation gain.

Note - it's been reported that the Ferry is actually charging $7 for bicycles rather than the $6 noted on their web site.

Directions to start:  Cross the Bay Bridge and head south on US-50.  Take a slight right on MD-322S Easton Parkway.  In 0.4 mi turn left onto Washington St.  Go 1.4 mi and turn right on Bay St.  Turn left at the first cross street onto N W St.  Turn right on W. Dover St.  There's a parking lot on the south side of W. Dover at the corner, and rest rooms at the Talbot County Detention Center west of the library.
