It's the off-season, a good time to explore never before ridden roads in the Country Lakes district west of Mechanicsville Rd we've wondered about for years, as well as to visit some old favorites: Baptist Church Rd south to Chaptico, Manor Rd west to Maddox, and the scenic out-and-back to Old Chaptico Wharf.  35 miles, 1145' elevation gain.

Directions to Ride Start:  Northern Senior Center (St. Mary's County)  From Waldorf, go 13 miles on Leonardtown Road and MD 5 to Golden Beach Rd. Turn right at Golden Beach Rd and go 0.1 mi. Turn left at Charlotte Hall Rd/Old Route 5 and 0.9 mi to Community Center on the right. [map to start]
