Ride wide paved shoulders and back country roads to the old African-American schoolhouse, then on to Piney Point Lighthouse for a rest stop, then tour St. George Island before returning to the start.

Directions to start:  Take Rt. 5 South into St. Mary's County.  Continue on Rt. 5 from the county line for 27 mi.  Turn right into the shopping center at the Weis Market.
