Continuing our self-supported metric a month ride series, this time for a steamy July we'll be riding in Nanjemoy, the shadiest place I know in our area.  Rest stops at Friendship Farm Park, Nanjemoy Community Center (water stop only, it's closed on Sundays), King James Church, the Nanjemoy store (the only food stop, at mile 42) and Smallwood Park.  Bring plenty of water and snacks.  62 miles, 2440' elevation gain.

Directions to Ride Start: From Beltway Exit 3-A take Md 210 (Indian Head Highway) south for 14 miles to town of Bryans Road. Turn left onto Livingston Road/MD-227, after 1.8 miles bear right to stay on Livingston Road/MD-224 for 2.0 miles to the trail parking area on the right.   [map to ride start]
