We'll go up Bumpy Oak and down Rose Hill to Port Tobacco, then go up Locust Grove to a rest stop at the Dash In in La Plata.  Coming back on Rt 6, we'll go up Valley to Hawthorne, and take Ripley to Poorhouse to a stop at the Pisgah Store.  From there we'll take  Pisgah Marbury, Bicknell and Chicamuxen.  34 miles, 1234' elevation gain.

Directions to start:  From Beltway Exit 3-A take Md 210 (Indian Head Highway) south for 14 miles to town of Bryans Road. Turn left onto Livingston Road/MD-227, after 1.8 miles bear right to stay on Livingston Road/MD-224 for 2.0 miles to the trail parking area on the right.
