Bike Doctor of Waldorf (BDW) has and continues to have a close working relationship with members of the Oxon Hill Bicycle and Trail Club. The knowledgeable and pleasant staff continue to strive to meet cyclists needs in a professional and courteous manner. They highly value the patronage of OHBTC members and have provided a 10% discount for a wide variety of merchandise. Unfortunately, it appears that customers, aware of the OHBTC discount, are claiming to be members when in fact they are not.
In an attempt to satisfactorily resolve any potential confusion and ensure our members can continue to receive the offered discount, we (BDW and OHBTC) have agreed to the following: Any BDW customer claiming the member discount will be required to show their membership card (or other correspondence from the club, e.g., letter, email, etc.) that reflects they are an active member and their club expiration date. BDW will reflect the status and expiration date in their system and apply the discount to that and future qualifying purchases as long as the buyer remains an active club member.
Many of us take advantage of discounts offered by a wide range or merchandisers - some of us seniors take even greater advantage. We are required to show an active membership or identity card for each purchase - everytime! We recognize the above change may be a small inconvenience, but also believe it is in the best interest of our membership and one of our most loyal supporters.
