Piggybacking on Steve's steamy July ride, we'll join his group in the greater Nanjemoy area, the shadiest place known in to local bicyclists.  This shorter ride begins at Friendship Farm Park with rest stops at Nanjemoy Community Center (water stop only, it's closed on Sundays), King James Church, and the Nanjemoy store (the only food stop, at mile 26).  Bring plenty of water and snacks.  36 miles, 1314' elevation gain.  Ride leader will sweep at a pace to insure no rider left behind.
