It's going to be a hot one, so never mind that school's started, let's stick with summer hours for one more week. The route takes Old Indian down to the 301 shoulder, down Van Brady, right on Molly Berry to Candy Hill across Croom and left on Nottingham to a rest stop at the Merkle Sanctuary.
Leaving Merkle will go left on Nottingham and around the corner to Tanyard, across Croom onto Baden Naylor. Well cross Rock Creek, climb up past Molly Berry to Nelson Perrie, going up to Bald Eagle School, up Westwood onto Baden Westwood to the Baden store (since there's nothing quite like a cold Coca Cola when it's over 90 degrees and the humidity makes it feel like it's 98) before we take Brandywine to Gibbons Church back to the park. 30 mi, 1180' elevation gain.
