CANCELLED due to rain

It's First Lady Jackie's Birthday and she has BIG plans to ride 77 miles, starting with an onroad excursion to Pisgah & Smallwood Park.  Let's escort her in style as we traverse some very familiar roads:  IHRT to Pomfret, Marshall Corner, Hawthorne, Ripley and Poorhouse to a rest stop at the store.  Continuing on Bicknell ansd Sweetman to a second stop at Smallwood Park before final leg on Chicamuxen back to the start.  23 miles, 654' elevation gain.  Jackie will then begin accruing mileage on the IHRT so those interested can continue riding with her to increase their own daily mileage count.

Ride leader will sweep at a C pace to insure no rider left behind.  A few cue sheets will be available at ride start but best to download route to your own device.

Directions to Ride Start: From Beltway Exit 3-A take Md 210 (Indian Head Highway) south for 14 miles to town of Bryans Road. Turn left onto Livingston Road/MD-227, after 1.8 miles bear right to stay on Livingston Road/MD-224 for 2.0 miles to the trail parking area on the right.   [map to ride start]
