Let's end the year by welcoming back Pat Walthers, who will be taking her first ride on the road with her brand new knee.  It's a simple, straightforward route: Hawthorne up Mighty Mount Pisgah to Ripley, Poorhouse and Bicknell, left on Chicamuxen to Smallwood Park.   After the break, we'll return on Chicamuxen and Marbury Run.  20.7 miles, 650' elevation gain.  This is a C/CC ride, and faster and slower riders are welcome.

Directions to Ride Start: From Beltway Exit 3-A take Md 210 (Indian Head Highway) south for 14 miles to town of Bryans Road. Turn left onto Livingston Road/MD-227, after 1.8 miles bear right to stay on Livingston Road/MD-224 for 2.0 miles to the trail parking area on the right.   [map to ride start]
