2024 Watermelon Ride
The club continues its tradition of an all-class ride after the Fourth of July that ends with everyone enjoying cold watermelon. This year, the ride leaves from the Indian Head Village Green at 9 am with a choice of 25-, 40- and 49-miles or an option of up to 26 miles on the Indian Head Rail Trail.
Nonmembers are welcome - but please note that the club's insurance company only permits a nonmember to attend one ride, as an accommodation to check out the club. Oxon Hill has a trial membership which allows riders to join the club and come on a few rides to familiarize themselves with the club.
