The Town of Eagle Harbor is celebrating on August 3 and our club is invited. The donation we provide to the town for its support of our Rural Legacy ride helps to put on this event.
The event begins at 11 and we will plan to get there around that time. At the ride start we'll form 2 or 3 groups of riders to accommodate varying speeds with leaders for each group.
Two routes: 39 - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/47719375
44 - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/47812375
Cue sheets: There are links under the title in each route file above for printing a cue sheet.
Definitely bring water and your own snacks, since it's uncertain what kind of food will be available.
The route looks hilly - but it is doable for slower riders, though being used to riding hills will help - I will "lead" froirm the rear and no one will be dropped.

Eagle Harbor is proud of its origins as a historic black community, built 100 years ago in answer to the segregation at other beach towns in the area. Here's a link to a short video about the town. https://townofeagleharborincmd.org/video.php?vid=2
