Weather forecasts consulted say rain will be gone after 9 am. Roads will be wet but since we're on Chixamuxen first, with its wide shoulders, we should be okay. Gonna be colder starting Friday, too!
So your friendly neighborhood ride leader still plans to visit Nanjemoy. We'll do all of Chicamuxen to Port Tobacco Road, arriving at the Community Center for a rest stop. Then Baptist Church/Bowie to Mason Springs, Poorhouse/Ripley to Hawthorne, and finish with an exhilarating descent of Mighty Mount Pisgay. 32.5 miles, 1086 elevation change
Riders of ALL classes welcome; ride leader will travel at a pace to insure no rider left behind. No cue sheets at ride start - either print your own or download route.
