Let’s get together for a club picnic ride on Labor Day! 
We'll visit Smallwood State Park and have the traditional hot dogs (veggie, too), potato chips, Fritos, sodas and cookies at the end.
So, for your riding enjoyment, we’ll get together at the Indian Head Village Green (the town pavilion) and start our rides there. A trail ride and three routes on the road, at different paces. Plenty of parking and bathrooms available at the pavilion.
PLEASE NOTE THE STAGGERED START TIMES - so that we can all gather for the picnic at more or less the same time.
Rest stops will be at parks and stores along the way. All routes (except the IHRT Trail Ride) go down to the water in Smallwood State Park., where there is a bathroom and a small store.
After the ride, fresh grilled hotdogs (including veggie dogs), along with chips, Fritos, soda and cookies.

Trail ride - 27 miles- 9:00 am - Ron & Susan Altemus

Indian Head Village Green, Lackey Dr, Indian Head, MD 20640
Take MD-210 (Indian Head Highway) to the town of Indian Head. At the top of the hill, pass Indian Head Elementary School on the right and turn right into Lackey Drive. Continue to pavilion parking on the left or straight ahead to IHRT parking on Dr. Mitchell Lane.
