The bridge connecting the two previously discontinuous sections of the WB&A Trail was finished this past May! If you haven't yet ridden this trail, come join us as we ride the full length from Lanham to Odenton and back. The pavement is smooth, and the scenery is varied. We'll start near the SW end of the trail at the Glenn Dale Community Center which has restrooms and plenty of parking. At the NE end of the trail we'll stop at Rieve's Deli in Odenton for a rest/food stop before retracing our route back to the cars.
NOTE - unlike most of the local rail trails, the WB&A has a bit of elevation change, most notably a half mile switch back climb at a 5% grade going north out of the Patuxent River valley.
