Starting from Allen Pond Park, we'll ride along rural roads in Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties (Bowie, Upper Marlboro, and Harwood). The relatively short distance will get you back home in time to complete any chores you have planned for the day.  28 mi, 1160' elevation gain.  Estimated pace: 14-16 mph

Directions to Ride Start:   Allen Pond Park
From Beltway, take US 50 (John Hanson Hwy.) east toward Annapolis for 6 miles then exit onto Md 197 (Collington Rd.) south toward Bowie. Turn right at first traffic light onto Northview Drive. Go 1.2 miles just past Nottinghill Drive and turn right at the Bowie Ice Arena into the park. Restroom near snack bar or in skating rink when open.
