We would like to present a request to State Highways to install the Bicyclists May Use Full Lane sign at key points in Charles County. If you have sections of _state_ (numbered) roads that you would like to suggest, please respond in this forum. We are trying to have a limited number of sites in our initial request so please only list high priority locations.
Locations should have a combination of no shoulder, frequent use by cyclists, and moderate or higher traffic.
My initial list is:
- Rt. 6 between the narrowing west of Annapolis Woods Road and Durham Church road
- Rt 225/224 at the bridge over the Mattawoman
Please continue the discussion and we will prioritize the sites before we meet with SHA.
