Report - Our regulars came out on this great fall weather morning ride. Leesha tried to start the ride but had to abort because of a sore leg. There were not many other trail users considering the good weather. Not much wildlife either except for the squirrels and birds. It was a nice ride to the White Plains rest area. The "rest rooms" are closed for the season so we all had to use the "porta-potties" which is OK. After a short break, we headed back to the parking lot and into a fairly stiff breeze. Everyone else headed off but Jackie and I went to the new grocery store in Indian Head and did some shopping. It (Oasis) is a nice and well stocked store. Plenty of parking in the rear. Please bring your own bag if possible. They do have plastic bags for a cost.
