Day 2 was an interesting weather day. Kind of dreary, but a very doable day to ride. A brief overview of this days agenda and off we went. The ride to the ferry went well as we navigated around the campus of William and Mary College to Jamestown Road which is a straight shot to the ferry. Once we boarded the ferry we were on our way to Surry for the days events of visiting Chippokes State Park, Bacon's Castle, Lunch at Meats of Virginia, and Smith's Fort, all plantations before our return to Williamsburg. The weather held up and the dreary day was a gooddayto ride. One bent derailleur and one flat tire were the only mishaps reported to me.
