Route: Start at the Livingston Road parking lot toward White Plains Trailhead and back again.
Weather: a sunny but crispy 62 degrees day

Report: We saw a few walkers, bikers, joggers and even a couple of skaters out enjoying the cool finally Fall weather. As for wildlife lots of furry caterpillars are all that crossed our path/trail headed for their winter homes. At the White Plains end of the trail behind the covered benches some grapes were spotted growing up high in the trees and the suggestion of making wine came up, but since there were so few grapes, we decided against it. Maybe next year the harvest will look better. We can only hope.
