After a very cloudy start to the day, and a definite chill in the parking lot air, the sun came out, the temperature reached nearly 50 and our ride was lovely! Richard Harrington led a nice sized group of swift riders, among them Jim and Jane, Mike and Regina, Darin King, Lou, Jan and Ron, Terre - and perhaps one or two others. My CC group held together and chatted a good bit along the way: Sam Perry, Roger Cubbage, Steve Palincsar and me. We did a version of the Swampy ride, circling around a bit and then going through Pisgah to Welcome and Scott's store, to Mill Swamp and then sweeping up Rose Hill and Bumpy Oak on the return.
