Mechanicals/Mishaps:
Report: Spritzy rain started about an hour into the ride, but it didn't get really bothersom until about 10:45 AM at which time I put on my lucky rain jacket. Sure enough, the rain got worse and our orderly pace line disintegrated. Several of us made a mad dash for Mallows Bay and some protective trees. Different people followed different paths back to Pisgah Firehouse. I waited out the rain at the Mallows Bay pavilion and tried to dry out. Tom joined me as the rain eased, and we took a moment to wash off our bikes and chains in several of the mud puddles that had formed at the entrance to the park. Back on our way, we were the last two to finish. Actually it was fun riding in the rain, but the clean up afterward was a pain.
