Supplement to Mia's report. Riders were Rod, Reggie, Dana, Mia, and myself. Other than a bit chilly at the start and windy, the day was full of bright sun shine. Dana even had her sun tan lotion going. Having not done the long climb up the back end of Bumpy Oak in over two years, I still remembered it. This time I went up better than expected ( maybe the wind was pushing) and was pleased to find that Mia and Reggie had not been waiting at the top too long. After stops at Ollie's and The Pisgah Store, the group attacked the return route in good fashion. I held on ( or faded) as best I could. What a great way to start the season. We had a ball.
