Weather: First 90+ degree day of the year on the Tour de Accokeek
AMS: 19+ for the front group to the river, 16+ for the second group to the river.

Report: I thought it would be a hot one. It was the first 90+ degree on the Tour. At least it wasn't Humid. Everyone was getting ready for the ride and we had the pleasure of Dan Zavorka drop by to say hello. He was out with his daughter running errands and was nice enough to drop by and say hello. His next stop was to take his daughter to BJ's for some ice cream. We did put Dan to work to take the group photo. We took one in the parking lot and then rode down to the entrance of the parking lot to take a photo by the Firetrucks. Must have been something going on inside as all the firetrucks were outside. This made a great photo op for us. We had some head winds and worked together to get to the river. We made it to the river with no problems. At the river there was a couple riding their Harley. They had a 12 pack of beer and stopped to enjoy the river view. But probably not the best thing to ride a motorcycle, while drinking and carrying a warm 12 pack on you lap as you ride. Oh well. We conquered Barry's Hill on the way back to the Firehouse. See you next week.
