A nice number of riders today with lots of trail users. We all rode at our individual paces and met up at the White Plains rest area where we had a nice visit. We saw turtles (including a very large one), eagles, a turkey, many deer, a small brown snake (Michael said it was a Water Maucausin), and many other birds. After our break at White Plains, we picked up our pace on the return leg. Ron, Susan, Calvin, Susan, Michael, and I went to George's for lunch. We ate inside (because of the outside heat) where we continued to chat. Nice ride, good company, and great lunch.
