Ride Description: On Day 1 of this "Self Supported" 3 day Williamsburg Tour it will start in Richmond at the Richmond, VA train station (1500 E. Main Street) and to continue to Williamsburg, VA via the scenic Virginia Capital Trail and  roads (ON THE PEDALS AT 9:30 WITH A STOP AT THE TRAIL HEAD FOR A GROUP PHOTO). There will be a lunch stop in Charles City at "Indian Fields Tavern".   http://www.indianfieldstavern.com/ about 30 miles into the ride (There will be regrouping stops along the route approximately every 8 - 10 miles).  You will need to make lodging reservations for 2 nights at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Williamsburg by Marriott, 1402 Richmond Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185.  https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/phffw-fairfield-inn-and-suites-williamsburg/overview/?scid=f2ae0541-1279-4f24-b197-a979c79310b0  This will be the staging point for all ride/tour starts in Williamsburg (Or the Hotel/B&B/Resort of your choice near the Fairfield Inn & Suites).

NOTE: Routes have been updated and the agenda is set.  This is a "Rain or Shine Event" unless conditions are deemed unsafe (Eg. Hurricane, Torrential Downpour, Excessive High Winds, etc.).

On Day 2 of this tour, we will ride to the Jamestown - Scotland ferry to cross the James river to Surrey https://www.virginiadot.org/travel/ferry-jamestown.asp   (ALL MEET AT THE STAGING POINT AND ON THE PEDALS AT 9:30.  The ferry is a free ride, No fare involved) for a day of touring and lunch @ "Meats of Virginia, Formerly Edwards Ham".  https://meatsofvirginia.com/  Time permitting we will short tour the Jamestown Settlement before returning to the hotel and later convene for dinner (Dinner at the Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant @ 6PM) . https://plazaazteca.com/

On Day 3, the final day of the tour, the group will prepare for the return ride to Richmond (ALL MEET AT THE STAGING POINT AND ON THE PEDALS AT 9:00).  There will be a lunch stop at the "Culs Courthouse Grill in Charles City". https://culscourthousegrille.com/  There will also be regrouping points along the ride and this route will include some roads.
