CANCELED due to weather

Highlights of the Rural Legacy, demitasse edition: all the best parts in just 31 scenic miles, with an easy shortcut for bad weather and a longer version in case the weather really improves.

We'll take North Keys to Molly Berry, go up Van Brady and take Duley Station to Croom and down Croom Airport to a rest stop at the Pavilion in Patuxent River Park.  After the break we'll take Duvall to Mount Calvert, Croom to St Thomas Church and Fenno to a second rest stop at Merkle, returning on Nottingham, Candy Hill and North Keys.  

The weather outlook for Sunday has greatly improved in the past day or two, so I've added a 41 mile version just in case.  The routes are the same up to the second rest stop, so we can make a final decision there.

Directions to Ride Start:  From the Beltway (Rt495/95) take the Branch Ave South exit onto Branch Ave (Rt5). Continue south into Brandywine MD. From Route 5 take the exit for Brandywine Rd. Go past the firehouse, and make a left turn onto North Keys Road. Travel for approximately 1.5 miles and make a left turn into the North Keys Community Park.

This is a Social Distancing Ride open to members only.  All riders must agree to follow the  Guidelines for Rides During the Pandemic and agree to the Informed Consent for COVID-19 and the Release and Waiver of Liability.  Advance registration is required.
