Visit the Three Covered Bridges in a whole new way, with a stop at Mount St Mary's College, a trip on Kelbaugh and a tour on the Thurmont Trolley Trail along the way.  Rest stops at Loys Station Park, Mt St Mary's McGowan Center and the High's at Thurmont.  42 miles, 1900' elevation gain.  Who knows, perhaps there'll still be some autumn color left, nice to see with temps in the 70s.  And don't forget about the time change to EST, you don't want to show up at the park an hour early.

Directions to start:  Head north on I-270 to Frederick.  Continue onto US-40W.  In 1.2 mi continue onto US-15N.  Go 6.8 mi and turn right onto Old Frederick Rd.  In 1 mi turn left into Utica Park.
