Today we'll explore side roads that go down to the Patuxent: Milltown Lading, Magruders Ferry, Whites Landing with rest stops at Magruders Landing and the Merkle Wildlife Refuge.  36 miles, 2078' elevation gain.

Directions to Ride Start:  From the Beltway (Rt495/95) take the Branch Ave South exit onto Branch Ave (Rt5). Continue south into Brandywine MD. From Route 5 take the exit for Brandywine Rd. Go past the firehouse, and make a left turn onto North Keys Road. Travel for approximately 1.5 miles and make a left turn into the North Keys Community Park.
