Ride Report:
My computer said it was 46 degrees at the ride start – not. According to Steve’s phone it was 33 degrees which felt about right. We were both well prepared so the cold wasn’t an issue especially with the sunny skies. We had the wind against us on and off down to the rest stop but it wasn’t’ too bad. We only stopped briefly since we were at the end of route 6 at the river and the wind off of the river was making it feel pretty cold. We should have had a tail wind all the way back from the rest stop but it seemed to vary a bit; sometimes it was behind, sometimes against, and sometimes from the side. We had a nice run the last couple of miles to the end; we were making 25 MPH thanks to the wind and Steve leading the way. Steve and I were wondering, where are all of the other winter riders? Anyway, we had a good ride.
