What better way to start the Memorial Day festivities than with a morning group bike ride with people that share a common interest - safe, enjoyable, bicycling. This was the objective of the B, CC & C rides from Accokeek. Ride leaders Calvin Conyers, Herman Young and John Gorman wish to thank the 38 total B, CC & C riders that participated.
All routes shared a portion of Indian Head Rail Trail, met at the White Plains rest stop, used wide shoulders for safety and minimized hills for enjoyment. Regardless of skill levels, riders interacted with each other exchanging suggestions and conversations.

(photos), Janell Saunders, Jackie & Randy Schoch, Sharon Miller and Jon Agazzi for pacesetting and turn control. While resting at the White Plains Trail end, Kristen's tire blew out. No problem. Sam gave a clinic on repairing. In addition to aforementioned participants, Leaders thank John R., LaTasha, Lea, Larry, Bernie, Sue, Jimmie, Nancy, Anthony, Rudy, Celeste, George, Gigi, Ani, Diana, Chuck and guest Laura Learn for coming. BJ's was closed so unfortunately no ice cream this year. Maybe next time.
